Baker's Dozen

Description

The Baker's Dozen Route is a peak bagging challenge. You can use any routing you want, but you must tag all 13 summits. Summit the 13 peaks marked on the map along Canyon Ridge and the High Divide, north of Mount Baker, shown HERE. West to East they are: Smuggler's Point, Canyon Ridge West Peak, Canyon Ridge Middle Peak, Canyon Ridge East Peak, Cowap Peak, Excelsior Peak, Untouched Peak, Peak 5930, Highmark Hill, Welcome Butte, Keep Kool Butte, Yellow Aster Butte, and Winchester Mountain. The shortest possible route is roughly 25 miles and 9,000 feet of elevation gain. Most iterations will be longer and have even more elevation gain. That's the Body part.

Here's the Mind part: Tom Robbins' "Another Roadside Attraction".

To complete the Cascadian Wilderness Endurance Series Mind/Body Challenge you must read or listen to Tom Robbins' "Another Roadside Attraction", and in your trip report tie in your experience on the trail to the book.

This can be done in any way you see fit, through words, pictures, video, song, whatever expression you choose.
